What's in your closet?
If it recorded a birthday, a wedding, a fishing trip, or a voice, we can almost certainly bring it to digital.

Why now
Every year in a closet, a little more is lost.
Magnetic tape sheds and stretches. Film curls and fades. Slides yellow in their trays. The players disappear from living rooms long before the memories stop mattering. Digitizing doesn't just copy them. It stops the clock.
Watch the color come back. That's the whole job, and we've been doing it in Anchorage since 2012.

Why local matters
Your only copy should never ride in a shipping box.
Originals stay in town
Mail-away services make you ship irreplaceable originals out of state, twice. Legacybox, the one you hear advertised, doesn't ship to Alaska at all. Here, you hand your box to us (or our secure drop-box) and pick it up finished.
Days, not weeks
Same-day and next-day service, depending on the size of the order and our workload. A mail-away round trip from Anchorage realistically takes weeks.
Prices on the table
$19 tapes. 50¢ photos. 40¢ a foot of film. Published, straightforward, with volume discounts. No "request a quote" runaround for the basics.

The people behind it
The same friendly owners since 2012.
Ellie Brollo opened the studio in 2012 and spent a decade earning awards for her transfer and editing work — and a longer list of thank-you notes from Alaskans. Together with her husband Dave Singyke, a UAA-trained journalist and photographer, she runs every order through the same hands, in the same downtown Anchorage studio.
Forget-Me-Not Media is the new name; the owners, the care, and the fast, fair work are the ones customers have trusted for over a decade.
Meet Ellie & DaveIn their words
A decade of thank-you notes.
“Ellie is a true professional — meticulous, careful and thoughtful in how she handles your memories. … I really appreciate how she went above and beyond to make sure the only voice recording I have of my mom (she passed when I was very young) was as high-quality as possible.”
“Very nice owner who understands how special our memories are. The transfers are excellent and as prompt as possible.”
“I was going to send out our home videos through Walmart or Walgreens, but stumbled upon Ellie's business instead and let me tell you! I am so happy I went through her over them.”
Don't let them fade.
Bring the box in.
Call or text for a quote, drop your media at the studio (or in the secure drop-box outside the door), and pick it up, usually within a day or two.
